For several years I displayed my work in The Old Quarter Gallery on Royal Street in the French Quarter. Each month I would go check on things and almost always there would be street performers playing or performing on the street outside the gallery. "The Cathouse Piano Player" was one of the more creative and talented performers that came by. This painting is one of a series of eight small watercolors I painted prior to the 1984 World’s Fair in New Orleans. I published a limited edition of print of each one.This is the first time I have offered these originals for sale.
